End of Abyss energy node door not opening
If you died between destroying energy nodes and the door stays shut, install the door-fix patch before starting over. PS5 needs 01.012.000; Xbox and PC need 1.0.1.2 or later.

Check the installed version first
The energy-door fix also unblocks saves already affected by the problem. That makes updating the first sensible step, rather than deleting your progress. Close the game, install the available update through your platform, then load your existing save and revisit the door.
A failed attempt after the update does not automatically mean the same bug. Read the door with the Scanner and separate a missing key, an explosive barrier and a power connection. Each needs a different action.

Find what the door is asking for
Use map and backtracking to distinguish a route you can finish now from one that needs later equipment. Write the room, floor and scan requirement in your return notes so the next attempt starts with the right objective.
- Scan the shut door. If the readout names a key, stop shooting nearby scenery and make a return note for that key.
- If the scan exposes a power connection, follow the connection to its energy node. Clear threats before putting the Scanner away to shoot it.
- Check the remaining connections after each node. Factory West has a documented three-node door; that is not a rule for every powered door.
- If death interrupted the node sequence, check your version again. On a fixed build, keep your existing save while you investigate any remaining requirement.
Before spending another set of supplies
Do not use repeated deaths as a free puzzle reset. Spent ammunition and expendable kits can remain spent. The save pod and death guide explains the difference between revival, reusable healing and consumable supplies.
If the same door is still blocked on a fixed version, record the platform, installed version, room and whether death interrupted the sequence. Those details are more useful for a bug report than a guess that the whole save is lost. See patch changes for the separate map-icon and revival fixes.
